▏Section 1 Health Information and Communication
The MOHW proactively disseminates health information through multiple channels. For instance, the "Health 99+ Education Website" set the health promotion theme pavilions to provide health-related articles, materials, rumor clarification and health testing. In 2021, with 3,573 items of health materials for the public to browsing, and provides 88 physical materials
for general requests, the website had attracted more than 4.64 million views. Meanwhile, the MOHW draws on its Facebook Fan Page and the LINE messaging platform to deliver health information and related discussions through push notifications.
▏Section 2 Health Surveillance
The MOHW conducts health surveillance and surveys to collect data that can be used to formulate policies. The MOHW has established the noncommunicable disease surveillance system and continuously conducts health surveys on the whole population and people of different age groups (Figure 3-6).
