This program includes the concrete methods and performance indicators for the Executive Yuan level issues of "Promoting gender equal public- private sector decision-making participation," "increasing the economic power of women," "eliminating gender stereotype, prejudices and discrimination," "preventing digital/cyber gender violence," " promoting the gender equality of health and care work" and "building environmental space and technological innovation with gender viewpoints"; related gender viewpoints continue to be merged into related important policies and planning, with gender issue orientation, integrating and using gender mainstreamization tools and regularly announcing results in the gender special page on this ministry's webpage.
To echo the importance attached to women' rights by the UN and celebrate International Women's Day, on March 6, 2021 the ministry held the Bravery Forum lectures with the theme of Feel
No Fear, to which various scholars and experts were invited to discuss life-related topics such as post-partum childrearing and the reproductive rights of disabled women. The aim was to awaken women to the importance of their own rights and encourage them to bravely break through the gender framework and express themselves freely.
To respond to the spirit of Taiwan Girl's Day, the Yes, Girls! Let's Create the Future online activity was held. Through opening the 2021 Taiwan Adolescent Opinion Survey, the self- value and career exploration of adolescents and challenges and opportunities of gender were explored, inviting people to care about what girls think, support their development and break down the restrictions of gender stereotypes to create a gender equal world with action and words.
